Q: How long does it take to do a full wrap?
A: We require the vehicle for 5 full days (Monday to Friday). Sometimes we may get it back to you sooner (by half a day) , But this is NEVER a guarantee.
Q: I have rust, can I just wrap over it?
A: No. We cannot wrap over rust! It won’t stick and will in fact accelerate the rust on your vehicle. You can repair/sand it an spray it with primer and then we would be able to wrap it.
Q: I have dents/Dings/Damage, Will the wrap hide it?
A: No, vinyl is very thin and can’t hide damage. If we wrapped over a strand of hair, you would see it.
Q: Can I paint match part of my car?
A: Yes, but you need to stop by our shop before booking for us to paint match. We can’t guarantee that we will have a match.
Q: Will vinyl protect my car?
A: Vinyl will protect your car’s paint from light damage such as small rocks or scratches. It is thinner than a paint protection film, however, so it won’t offer the same level of protection.
Q: Can I cover my poor-quality paint (flaking, resprayed, sun damage, etc.) with wrap?
You can in some cases, but flaking clear coat will prevent proper installation, and we cannot offer any warranty on paint that is not in a “like new” condition.
Q: Can you apply paint protection film overtop vinyl wrap?
Yes, if you want some extra protection to keep your wrap in great shape we can apply ppf over common impact areas.
Q: Does it have a warranty? How long is it?
A: Yes, there is an install warranty (8 weeks) Material defects warranty ( It depends on the color and finish you choose- it is determined by the manufacturer) and lastly a damage replacement discount. Full details can be found here: Warranty » Choice Wraps
Q: Can you wrap my rims?
A: We could, but we won’t. Brake fluid breaks down vinyl and rocks nick vinyl fairly easily. We don’t want anyone to be unhappy with the product/service we provide, If we know it won’t hold up, we won’t offer it.
Q: How long does it last?
A: Depending on the color, finish, and how you store/ take care of it, Vinyl can last 5-10 years. Sun does the most damage so keep it shaded when possible. Certain finishes like gloss will last longer than matte finishes.
Q: Can I wrap every/any part?
A: It all depends on the surface. The wrap needs a smooth and shiny surface to adhere properly. Surfaces like textured plastics won’t have a proper adhesion, making it either not possible or not long-lasting. Otherwise, our installers are skilled enough to wrap nearly any complex shape.
Q: Can I vinyl wrap chrome parts?
Yes, wrap sticks to chrome very well.
Q: Does wrap hold up to Canadian winters?
Yes, the wrap will last many winters, but it becomes more brittle and susceptible to rock chips the colder. As long as you leave a proper gap between the vehicles in front you shouldn’t have too much issue, but some ppf applied over the wrap would protect the front end.
