Vehicle wraps
How long does it take to wrap a full vehicle?
Four working days for a passenger vehicle. Larger trucks and HD vehicles can push to five. Box trucks take six to eight. We hold the schedule we quote on intake day; if we say four days, the vehicle goes home on day four.
Can I wrap over rust, dents, or damaged paint?
No. Vinyl needs a smooth, healthy substrate to bond. Rust will keep spreading under the wrap and lift the film. Dents and dings telegraph through; vinyl is thin enough to show a stand of hair underneath, let alone a dent. Get the body work or rust repair done first; we'll re-quote once the surface is ready.
Will a wrap protect my paint?
Lightly. It absorbs small scuffs and minor scratches that would otherwise hit your clear-coat. For real stone-chip protection, you want paint protection film. Many customers combine both: PPF on the front impact zones, wrap on the rest of the vehicle.
Can I paint-match part of my car for a partial wrap?
Sometimes. Bring the vehicle by the shop first; we'll check the catalog for a close match. We can't guarantee a perfect match because automotive paint colours shift slightly per batch and per age; vinyl matches to the closest catalog colour, which is usually within a few percent.
How long does a wrap last?
Five to seven years outdoors with proper care. Indoor-stored vehicles routinely go eight to ten. Direct overhead sun fades colours faster, particularly reds and matte blacks. Gloss finishes hold up slightly better than matte over time.
Does the wrap come off cleanly?
Yes within its rated life. We use cast vinyl specifically because the adhesive releases cleanly when peeled within five to seven years. Past that, removal can leave some residue; book a removal before the warranty window closes if you want a clean return to OEM paint.
Will a wrap survive Edmonton winters?
Yes. Once cured, the wrap handles freeze-thaw cycles fine. The install needs a climate-controlled environment, which we have year-round. Vinyl becomes slightly more brittle in extreme cold (more susceptible to rock chips), so leave following distance and consider PPF on the front of the vehicle if you do a lot of highway driving in winter.
Can you wrap my rims?
We could, but we won't. Brake dust and brake fluid degrade vinyl, and rocks chip wheel surfaces aggressively. The film fails in months. We'd rather decline the job than install something that's going to disappoint you.
Can I wrap chrome trim, badges, or factory accents?
Yes, chrome delete is one of our most popular partial-wrap options. Vinyl bonds to chrome very well. We can wrap window trim, badges, door handles, mirror caps, and other chrome accents in your choice of finish.
Is there a warranty on the wrap?
Yes, three layers:
- Workmanship warranty: 14 days on the installation work itself (lifting at edges, adhesive failure due to install, missed details).
- Material warranty: from the manufacturer, varies by product. Colour-change cast vinyl runs 5–7 years, printed graphics with our standard laminate run 4 years, and paint protection film runs 7 to 10 years, or a lifetime warranty on the Platinum film.
- Damage replacement discount: if you damage the wrap and need a panel patched, we offer a discount on the patch work for customers within their material warranty window.

Paint protection film (PPF)
What's the difference between PPF and a vinyl wrap?
PPF is clear (invisible when installed), urethane-based, designed for impact protection. Vinyl wrap is opaque, PVC-based, designed for colour and finish change. PPF stops rock chips. Wrap doesn't, though a wrap will absorb minor scratches that would otherwise hit the paint.
Can I get PPF on a wrapped vehicle?
Yes, common combination. PPF goes on top of the wrap on the front impact zones (hood, bumper, fenders, mirrors) for extra rock-chip protection. The PPF is the outer layer; the wrap is between PPF and your paint.
How long does PPF last?
Seven to ten years outdoors. The 10-year material warranty covers yellowing, cracking, and delamination.
Signs and decals
Do I need a permit for my sign?
Probably yes if the sign is permanent and on the exterior of a commercial building. Probably no for window graphics under 30% glazing coverage, yard signs, and banners under 30 days. We flag permit-required projects on quote day; the application itself is yours to file with the City of Edmonton.
What's the smallest order you'll take?
One sign, one decal, one sticker. No minimum. Per-unit price drops on volume; 100+ stickers is meaningfully cheaper per unit than 10.
Can you design my sign for me?
Yes. Our in-house designer builds layouts from your logo and a few reference images. Design fees are quoted upfront, typically $200–$1,200 depending on complexity.
Pricing and process
How much does a wrap cost?
Most full vehicle wraps fall between $3,500 and $6,500 depending on vehicle size, finish, and design complexity. Pricing has the full breakdown including partial wraps, decals, boat wraps, and fleet rates.
How do I get a quote?
Phone, text, or the quote request form. Include vehicle make and model + photos from each side. For most jobs we can quote same-day; multi-vehicle or design-from-scratch projects take 1–3 days.
Do you do volume / fleet pricing?
Yes. Three or more vehicles with shared branding qualifies for fleet pricing, which is meaningfully different from single-vehicle rates.
Can I see materials in person before I commit?
Yes. We keep physical sample books for all four wrap brands (3M 2080, Avery SW900, KPMF MX, Oracal 970) in the shop. Worth the visit if you're between finishes, especially for colour-shift and matte options that look very different in person than in a thumbnail.
How do I book?
Request a free quote. For complex projects we'll schedule a 15-minute call before quoting; for standard vehicle wraps the photo-and-text path is usually fastest.
Cancellations and refunds
Is the booking deposit refundable?
Not once the day you paid it has passed. The 20% deposit reserves your install slot and starts your material order, so cancelling later means we already committed labour and material to your job. Cancel on the same day you paid, and we refund it in full. If we have to cancel your booking for any reason on our end, you get the deposit back in full too. What if I need to cancel a product order (vinyl by the yard or roll)?
You pay the full order total at checkout. If you cancel before the order ships, we withhold a 20% restocking fee from your refund; after it has shipped, 30%. Cut vinyl can't go back on the shelf as new stock, and the fee covers that loss.
Why don't you price-match other vinyl suppliers?
Because we're not selling the same thing. We stock and install the film ourselves, cast vinyl from brands we've run for years, so we can tell you exactly how it wraps and how long it lasts. A cheaper quote elsewhere is usually a different grade, batch, or material the seller has never actually installed. We'd rather lose the sale than sell you the wrong material.
