Privacy Policy

We record and transcribe phone calls to our shop, and we want you to know that before you call. The rest of this policy explains everything else we collect, who else sees it, and how to get it back or have it deleted. It replaces the previous version of this page in full; the old text described software products this business does not sell and was withdrawn on 2026-09-04.

Our approach

We collect what we need to quote your job, do the work, get paid, and answer you afterwards. We do not sell personal information. We do not buy lists of people to call.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote or contact us

Name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about the job: vehicle year, make, model and condition, the panels or surfaces involved, the site address for signage, and your business name where the work is commercial. Our forms use bot-protection that reads your IP address and basic browser characteristics for that purpose alone.

When you call us, and when you text

Calls to our numbers are recorded and transcribed. We record for service quality, training, and an accurate record of what was quoted and agreed, which matters in a trade where a job is described over the phone and installed weeks later. The recording is stored on Amazon Web Services and transcribed automatically. An automated classifier then labels the call (for example, a genuine enquiry, a supplier call, or a wrong number) so we can route follow-up; it does not make any decision about you, and a person reviews anything that matters.

Text messages you send to our numbers arrive in a shared inbox our staff answer, and are kept with the rest of the conversation.

If you would rather not be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will continue by email.

Some of our phone numbers are tracking numbers. When you arrive from an ad and call the number shown on the page, that number tells us which ad and campaign brought you in. It records the number you called, the time, and the advertising click that preceded it. We report conversions back to Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising using the platform's own click identifier; your name and phone number are not sent to them.

When you buy from us

Billing and shipping address, order contents, and payment details. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor, Bambora, and we do not store them. Where you save a card for future orders, what we hold is a token that lets the processor charge that card again; the card number itself stays with the processor.

When you create an account

Email address, password (stored hashed, never in readable form), order history, saved addresses, and any preferences you set.

Artwork and files you send us

Logos, design files, photographs, and vehicle images you supply for production. Where a photograph you send includes a person or a licence plate, we handle it the same way as the rest of your job file.

While you use this website

Pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, approximate location from your IP address, and the actions you take on the site. This is handled through Google Tag Manager and analytics tags loaded through our own tagging server at tagging-server.choice.graphics.

Analytics and marketing tags run only if you allow them. Our cookie banner separates strictly necessary cookies, which run always because the cart and login do not work without them, from functional and analytics cookies, which are off until you turn them on. Change your choice any time from the cookie preferences link in the footer.

Photographs of finished work

We photograph completed installations for our gallery, portfolio, and advertising. Vehicles carry your branding by design, and a commercial wrap is a public thing. If you would rather your vehicle not appear, tell us in writing before installation and we will leave it out.

Why we use it

To quote, schedule, and do the work. To order the right material. To take payment and keep the accounting records the Canada Revenue Agency requires. To answer you and handle warranty claims. To keep an accurate record of what was agreed. To understand which advertising actually produces enquiries. To send you occasional updates about our services, where you asked for them or where you are already a customer, with an unsubscribe link on every one.

Who else sees it

We share personal information with service providers who need it to do their part of the job, under contract, and for no other purpose:

  • Twilio, which carries our phone calls and text messages
  • Amazon Web Services, where call recordings and site data are stored, and OpenAI, which transcribes the recordings and runs the call classifier
  • Bambora, which processes card payments
  • Google, for tag management, analytics, and advertising measurement
  • Microsoft, for advertising measurement
  • Material suppliers and printers, where a job requires it, limited to what they need to fill the order
  • Our accountants, insurers, and lawyers, where a claim, an audit, or a legal obligation requires it

Some of these providers process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where foreign courts and law enforcement may be able to compel access under that country's laws. We use providers that commit contractually to protect the information to a comparable standard.

We disclose information without your consent only where the law requires or permits it, such as a court order, a lawful demand, or where disclosure is needed to investigate a breach of an agreement or a suspected offence.

If the business is sold or merged, customer records transfer with it as part of the transaction.

Your rights

Under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, you can:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
  • Have inaccurate information corrected
  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time, and to other uses where no legal or contractual requirement prevents it
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need
  • Complain to us first, and then to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta if you are not satisfied

Write to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days, and we will tell you if we need longer and why. There is no charge for a routine request.

Withdrawing consent to something we need in order to do the work means we may not be able to finish the job, and we will tell you plainly if that is the case rather than acting on it silently.

How we protect it

Access is limited to staff who need it for their work. Traffic to this website is encrypted in transit. Card numbers never reach our systems. Call recordings sit in access-controlled storage and the copy held by our telephone provider is deleted once it has been transferred. Backups run nightly and are encrypted.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Commissioner as the law requires.

Children

This website and our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top of the page is the date of the current version. A change that materially affects how we use information already collected will be brought to your attention rather than left for you to find.
